Hi,

    My name is Charlie Krager and I want to welcome you to the New Genesis Young Adult Ministries.  My wife Lyn and I are the Ministry Leaders and we are here to support you in any way that we can.  New Genesis caters to single young adults between the ages of 18 and 40 years old from all backgrounds.  Our focus is teaching young adults from the Word of God to give them a better understanding of who God is, what His principles are and how to live a Christian life.  We meet every Saturday night to give praise honor and glory to our Lord Jesus Christ, to study His Word, to lift up the needs of others and afterwards for a time of fellowship.

 

    New Genesis also provides numerous activities outside the church for everyone to get to know each other better.  We have a Leadership Team that meets monthly to plan these events.  In the past we have gone hiking, camping, bowling, putt-putt golf and the movies.  We have also held various types of tournaments, pizza parties, cooking lessons, prayer breakfasts, progressive dinners, picnics, scavenger hunts, dinner theaters, super bowl bashes, Christmas banquets, and New Years Eve Celebrations.  We have also taken 1-2 day trips to places like Nags Head, Washington DC , and to see different caverns.  We’ve been involved in several outreach ministries such as CNU, Salvation Army soup kitchens, stocking food pantries to help the less fortunate, and putting on children’s crusades.  One of the best things about attending our gatherings is Lyn’s fantastic cooking.  We guarantee you won’t go away hungry!  If you have been looking for a place to get involved, we encourage you to come and check us out.
